Is anyone else mad about the fact that the religious crazies have stolen the Christian religion?
It's not theirs. To be a Christian is to be kind and forgiving and accepting of the faults of others. At the very least, to be a Christian is to have faith that you can just let people be as long as they don't harm you and yours, and let GOD sort out whatever punishment they may require when the day of reckoning comes.
Yaknow, there's already a lot of strains of Christians. I propose that we introduce a new one. I'm gonna call it the Christian Crazies. They got religion. They know they're right with God. They believe in right to life and the death penalty. They are all for democracy unless their guy loses the election, then they throw tea parties and temper tantrums and would be perfectly happy to suspend democracy. They know anyone who doesn't agree with them right down the line is going to hell. And all the rest of us know they're CRAZY.
